Richard Egarr, Music Director of the Academy of Ancient Music, makes his Handel and Haydn debut, leading Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 from the fortepiano and conducting Mozart’s lively Symphony No. 1 and Beethoven’s delightful Symphony No. 8.

Join HIP Research Fellow Michael Ruhling for a pre-concert lecture in Symphony Hall starting one hour prior to performances.

Conductor and soloist Richard Egarr will join Michael Ruhling for a post-concert Q&A immediately following performances, after which he will sign CDs of some of his recordings by Mozart, Bach and Handel.
