The Handel and Haydn Society’s award-winning Karen S. and George D. Levy Educational Outreach Program is based on the belief that participating in music can have a profound and lasting impact on a young life and that financial need should never be a barrier to music education. Recognized as one of the first vocal education offerings in Boston by a professional performing arts organization, the program remains an important expression of the Society’s commitment to continuing the choral tradition by providing vocal training, performance opportunities, music education and tickets to Handel and Haydn concerts. Believing that a complete, well-rounded education includes participation in the arts, Handel and Haydn provides quality music education to over 10,000 students annually, many from underserved communities.
