VAP Audition Dates:
May 18, 2013 (9am–3pm): Choral ensembles
June 22, 2013 (11am–2pm): VAP soloists
September 7, 2013 (9am–3pm): Choral ensembles
January 4, 2014 (9am–3pm): Choral ensembles

Applicants will be notified of the results by phone or mail two weeks after auditions.
Audition Requirements
VAP Choruses
- Prepare the first verse of America (“My Country ’Tis of Thee”)
- Plan to perform vocal exercises to demonstrate musicianship
VAP Soloists
- Prepare a solo piece demonstrating vocal range and musicality of up to 3 minutes. An accompanist will be provided
- Plan to perform vocal exercises to demonstrate musicianship

A written recommendation from a music teacher is encouraged. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Auditions should last approximately 10 minutes.
Tuition and Scholarships
VAP Choruses
$400 per year
Boston Public/Boston Catholic School students: $120 per year.
Boston Latin School students are admitted at no cost.
VAP High School Soloists
$110 per year
Full and partial scholarships available.

By car: Take Huntington Avenue outbound (past MFA, Mass College of Art and Design) to Longwood Avenue (Medical Area). Turn right onto Longwood Avenue, and then take your second right onto Avenue Louis Pasteur. Parking is available in the main school lot, to the right of or behind the main building.
By public transportation: Green "E" line to Longwood Stop, or #39 bus to Longwood Medical stop. Follow Longwood Avenue (towards Children's Hospital), second right onto Avenue Louis Pasteur.
