Nicole Ameduri, soprano, is from Boston and is currently pursuing her career in New York City. Nicole was the first winner of the Barbara E. Maze Award for Musical Excellence, awarded in 1998. She has participated in Young Artist Programs including Boston University Opera Institute, Anchorage Opera Studio, Caramoor Young Artist Ensemble, and Aspen Opera Theater Center. She has also win a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and the McCallister Awards. She won 2nd place in the National Opera Association Voice Competition, college division, and 2nd place in the Marie E. Crump Vocal Arts Awards Competition. She has performed the roles of Juliette, Michaela, Donna Elvira, Laetitia, Gretel, Composer, and Sandman. This winter, she will perform Lady in Waiting in Verdi's Macbeth for the Dayton Opera where she will also serve a three month period as resident artist.
