Kristian Bezuidenhout is a versatile performer
who is equally at home on fortepiano, harpsichord and modern
piano and is fast earning a reputation as one of the most
promising musicians of his generation. As a recitalist and
chamber musician, Bezuidenhout has appeared in countries as
far afield as Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Australia,
England, South Africa, Ireland and the USA. Some notable collaborations
have included recitals with Paul O'Dette, Malcom Bilson, Dteven

been awarded in the history of the competition. Other competition
successes include first prize in the Chautauqua Piano Competition
(1996), Australasian Youth Piano Concerto Competition (1997)
and the Eastman School of Music Concerto Competition (2000).
Bezuidenhout was also the recipient of Eastman's prestigious
Performer's Certificate in 2000.

and Haydn Society debut in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto
