Philip Cutlip, baritone

Firmly established as one of the leading concert artists of his generation, Philip Cutlip is now equally in demand for leading operatic roles with opera companies worldwide. He has appeared with many leading American orchestras, including the Atlanta Symphony, the Handel and Haydn Society, the Utah Symphony and Opera, the Houston Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, the National Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke's, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Philharmonia Baroque. Operatic engagements include San Francisco Opera, Dallas Opera, Seattle Opera, New York City Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Opera Birmingham, Arizona Opera, and Gran Teatre Del Liceu. A frequent guest of the Handel and Haydn Society, Mr. Cutlip last performed with the ensemble in Bach's St. Matthew Passion with Grant Llewellyn in 2006.

Philip Cutlip performs in “Bach's Christmas Oratorio” on December 16 and 19.
