
A former graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artists Program of the Royal Opera, Covent Garden and the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio, Robert Gleadow made his COC debut at the Altamira Summer Opera Concerts and appeared in the Ensemble Studio production of Dido and Aeneas, The Coffee Cantata and as Colline in La Bohème. Recent seasons have seen him appear with the Halle Orchestra, Ensemble Mattheus, the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, the Edinburgh Festival, and the Royal Opera. In the current season, he performs the title role of The Marriage of Figaro with the Canadian Opera Company, tours Europe with Orchestre d’Astree and conductor Emmanuelle Haïm, and records with Deutsche Grammophone. Mr. Gleadow makes his Handel and Haydn Society debut in these concerts.
