
Mezzo-soprano Krista River has won wide acclaim for her virtuosity and expressiveness. The 2007-2008 Season sees Ms. River making return appearances Emmanuel Music, the Harrisburg Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, and the Weill Recital hall at Carnegie Hall. Past concert highlights include appearances with the Santa Fe Symphony, Florida Orchestra, York Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Her opera career has brought her to the stages of Opera Boston, Opera Aperta, Opera Southwest, the Kennedy Center, and Intermezzo Opera. She last appeared with Handel and Haydn in 2005's performances of Handel's Messiah.
Krista River performs in “Bach's Christmas Oratorio” on December 16 and 19.
