Soprano Kristen Watson has received critical acclaim for her performances with such ensembles as the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, the Boston Pops, Emmanuel Music and many others. Festival appearances include the Cactus Pear Music Festival, the White Mountain Music Festival, and the Carmel Bach Festival among others. Operatic engagements include performances with Boston Lyric Opera/Opera New England, Opera Boston, Handel and Haydn Society, Intermezzo Opera, and the American premiere of Angels in America with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project. She has also had success in crossover venues including musical theater appearances with the Reagle Players, Carolina Summer Theater, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Carnegie Mellon University, and Topeka Civic Theatre as well as singing back-up for Barry Manilow at the Tweeter Center. Her most recent solo appearance with the Society was in 2005's Dido and Aeneas.
